Did this as my first tandem read with Tower of Dawn, really enjoyed that experience even if 1200 pages took forever. This was the weaker of the two, some really good naval fights and plotlines, but the first part of the book dragged.

This was really in danger of being a 1 out of 5, but it finally picked up steam later in the book. I wasn't able to keep track of main characters until they finally clicked at one point. I don't think I will continue the series.
